Route 66 Auto Repair wants every driver to be able to read our hours, understand an estimate and reach us. This website is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we test it with automated tools and keyboard-only checks.

## What we built in

- A skip link, clear landmarks and one main heading on every page.
- Text and button colors that meet contrast requirements, with visible focus outlines.
- Menus, dialogs and the mobile menu that work with a keyboard and close with the Escape key.
- Tap targets of at least 44 pixels on phones, and text that stays readable when zoomed to 200 percent.
- Descriptive alternative text on images, labeled form fields and error messages that screen readers announce.
- Respect for reduced-motion settings and high-contrast (forced colors) modes.

## Known limits

The embedded Google Map and YouTube videos come from third parties and may not meet every guideline. The shop address, directions and a short text summary of each video are always provided next to them. If any page gives you trouble, tell us which page and what happened.
