What does a diesel fuel system scan read?

What a scan cannot tell you
A code tells you what the computer noticed, not always why. A low pressure code can come from a filter, a lift pump, a leaking injector or the high-pressure pump. The scan narrows the list; testing finishes the job.

How pricing and timing work
The diagnostic fee is stated at the counter before testing and applies to approved related repair. Scans are often done the same day when the board allows. Follow-up testing is quoted separately. OBD-II scanning covers the general scan for gas vehicles.
Aftercare
If you clear a code at home, write it down first so we can see it. If the light returns after a repair, call us and we will rescan. Keep your paperwork; the saved data helps later.
