This policy explains what information Route 66 Auto Repair ("we") collects through route66autorepairshop.com, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the choices and rights you have, including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.
What information we collect
- Information you send us: your name, phone number, email, vehicle details, the reason for your visit, whether you plan to wait or drop off, and any message you type into the estimate request form.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the time of each request. Our hosting provider records this in server logs to keep the site running and secure.
- Bot protection signals: when you submit the form, an automated check looks at browser signals to tell people from bots. It does not identify you personally.
- Analytics and session data (only with your consent): pages viewed, clicks, scroll depth and similar usage data collected by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity after you choose Accept All or turn Analytics on.
- Marketing data (only with your consent): advertising measurement tags, when enabled, run only after you turn Marketing on, and never when your browser sends Global Privacy Control.
How we use it
We use form information to call, text or email you back about your request, to prepare for your visit, and to keep a record of the conversation. We use technical information to deliver pages, prevent abuse and fix problems. With your consent, we use analytics to learn which pages answer questions and where the site is confusing.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising unless you turn Marketing on, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out of that sharing.
Your choices and California rights
You can change cookie choices at any time with Cookie Settings in the footer. California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, to request correction, to opt out of sale or sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to be free from discrimination for using these rights.

We will confirm your request, verify it using information you already gave us (such as the phone number on the request), and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission.
How long we keep information and how we protect it
We keep form emails as long as needed to serve you and to keep normal business records, and we delete what we no longer need. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider. The site uses HTTPS everywhere, strict security headers and access controls on the accounts that receive your information. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send payment card numbers or passwords through the form.
The website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
