What is the board, and why does it decide?
The board is the running list of cars in the bays, cars waiting, parts on order and promised pickup times. It is the only honest source for what we can take on. If we promise a look before lunch when the board is full, somebody else's promise breaks, and eventually yours does too.
So we only promise what the board can hold. If something slips, for example a part arrives late or a diagnosis turns out bigger than it looked, we text you rather than let you find out at pickup.
Which jobs usually fit the same day?
No promises, but here is the general pattern:

What if the car is not safe to drive?
