If nothing separates the seats from the load, securing items matters more. Push heavy pieces against the front of the cargo area, wrap them in pads, and tie them down. Keep loose items in bins. A sudden stop on Foothill Blvd should not send a box into the seat.
What is a cargo van like to drive?
It feels closer to a large SUV than a truck. You rely on side mirrors because the load can block the view back. Check the height before entering garages, and take speed bumps slowly with a load aboard.
